ACNE

ECZEMA
Also called dermatitis, eczema presents with itchy, reddish-brown, slightly scaly lesions on skin. Eczema can be of different types including acute and chronic eczema, irritant contact dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis and generalized non-specific eczema. Characterized by thick, red plaques with silvery-white scales, psoriasis is one of the most common chronic skin diseases that can affect any age group and can lead to joint pains (psoriatic arthritis) in the long-run. Early intervention is important to prevent complications. Resistant disease is managed by biologics like Secukinumab.
URTICARIA
Also known as hives, is a sudden itchy rash often with swelling of lips and eyes and can be a result of an acute allergic reaction. Emergency medical intervention can be needed if patient develops breathing obstruction. Chronic management requires medications and avoidance of triggers.


MELASMA & FACIAL PIGMENTATION
